Autumn Term – 2011
We have been to Tumblers and taken advantage of their tea time treat. The children loved the freedom of racing around, playing hide and seek and choosing their own tea. One of the mindees even came 2nd in the lap challenge. Well Done!
Summer Term Trip – 2011
The last week of term 9 children and 3 adults went to Gulliver’s Land – SPLASHZONE – an indoor activity play area filled with water fountains, cannons and jets – the children were so excited! Swimming costumes on, it was a fantastic way to end the school term and somewhere we will all be going to again!
May Half term – 2011
We went to Bekonscot Model Village, we arrived at opening time and spent the first hour wandering around the models, the children, aged 3, 7, 8 and 10 loved the miniture trains whizzing around the models. The youngest spent ages dashing from bridge to bridge shouting “chugger chugger woo woo!”
We stopped mid morning for a snack and drink and to top up on sun cream – it was a glorious day. Before lunch we walked around the rest of the models, the cottage on fire was a particular hit and all the children thought the moving fairground attraction was great. We picnicked in the shade and after lunch the children let off steam in the play area, before riding the train around the village. We had a lovely day and all the children said they had really enjoyed themselves – we will definitely go back again another year!
